New private messaging systemExtended version of the BB3PMTalky extension
The extension changes the built-in system of personal messages to a more logical and understandable one, instead of displaying personal messages as single messages, this extension displays all personal messages of one thread as one topic, the author of the topic is the user who wrote the first message. To operate, the extension uses personal messages from forum users, i.e. when you install it, all existing personal messages will be available in the extension, and when deleted, the standard system will return with all messages, including those written in the extension.
Additional features compared to the standard PM system:
- separate section for unread messages (topics)
- the ability to completely delete the entire topic by its author
- prohibition of sending messages to yourself
- ajax checking for new drugs
- option to mark personal messages as read only when the message is actually read (displayed on the page)
- a response to a message that was sent to several users is sent to all users who are participants in the topic
The Extra version of the extension adds the following features:
- adding topics to favorites
- sending topics to the archive
- freezing topics
- pinning topics to the topic list
- saving personal messages
- personal message tags
- pinning personal messages to a topic
- list of recent contacts
- list of frequent contacts
- adding contacts to favorites
- adding contacts to blocked
- hiding and blocking private messages from blocked ones
- search by message author, topic title, contact
- color labels of messages and message authors
- message map to view messages on a specific date
- pop-up menu by clicking on the avatar with searching for user messages, adding to favorites or blocked
- selecting several messages at once for deletion, selecting topics, messages, contacts by clicking on the topic, message or contact
- separate section for personal extension settings
