Chat for the forumThe extension adds chat to the forum, the main functions and capabilities:
- displaying the chat on a separate page or pop-up (js) window
- using emoticons in chat
- using bb codes in chat
- enable chat for guests
- enable the archive in the chat
- sending private messages in the chat
- auto conversion of links to clickable
- using avatars in chat
- enable sound notification of new messages in the chat
- chat height adjustment
- enable hidden location in the chat
- anti-flood blocking the ability to send messages and removing users from the chat
- deleting users from the chat, banning users indicating the time of the ban, quick ban with deleting all user messages from the chat, unban users
- clearing all messages from the chat, deleting all users
- deleting and editing messages in the chat of friends/foes
- logging of actions in the chat: deleting/editing messages, ban/unban/delete users
- auto delete users from the chat when they are inactive
- less resource usage due to the fact that the chat does not directly use the files and functions of the forum (for example, updating the chat page compared to MChat requires almost 20 times less memory)
Editions features
The rooms function has been added, users can use several rooms independent of each other in chat, in admin. settings you can create rooms with restricted access based on groups, as well as make rooms private (accessible only by link). When you enable the option in admin. section, users can create their own chat rooms (no more than one room per user), users can limit access to their room based on the user group, based on the list of friends/foes, for guests/registered, and also make rooms private. In the extension settings, you can add the ability to make the author of a room its moderator and assign additional rights in the room
